If we’ve learnt anything this Fashion Month, it’s that linen is back and it’s here to stay! From a-line sundresses to streamlined suits, designers just can’t seem to get enough of this age-old fabric..

Sported by the likes of Cleopatra and Audrey Hepburn, this fabric has been a go-to for centuries on end. Produced from the fibers of the flax plant, it is not only a fashion-forward choice, but its use also helps to minimize textile waste.

Linen was a clear centerpiece of Rejina Pyo’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Her runway show featured a range of linen pieces, ranging from fluoro plaid suits to printed Bermuda shorts. Among this season’s other linen-loving designers were fashion moguls Tommy Hilfiger, Miuccia Prada and Gabriela Hearst.

From smart skirts to button-up frocks to chic blazers, these versatile linen pieces will take you from work to the weekend and beyond. It's safe to say that these breezy boho fabrics are no longer reserved for scorching summer days!
